Belthangady Deanery Altar Servers and Marian Sodality Convention was held on Sunday, 3rd July 2022 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at Holy Redeemer Church Auditorium, Belthangady. 444 children from 12 parishes attended the convention. Rev. Fr Leo Lasrado, Director of Vocation and Director of Minor Seminary Gladsom, Mangalore Diocese was the resource person. Rev. Fr Sany Pinto, Campus Director of St Philomena College, Puttur conducted the activities and games to the children. V. Rev Fr Joseph Cardoza, Vicar forane of Belthangady Deanery inaugurated the convention by lighting the lamp. Rev. Fr Stany Pinto, Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo, Principal Anugraha PU college, Ujire, Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto, Principal Holy Redeemer Eng Med School, Belthangady, Mr Aloysius Lobo, Vice President Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs Pauline Rego, Secretary Parish Pastoral Council and Mr Vincent Dsouza, Co-ordinator of pastoral commissions.
Rev Fr Leo Lasrado celebrated the Holy Eucharist and preached the homily. Rev. Fr James D’souza, Parish Priest Ujire, Rev. Fr Steevan D’souza, Parish Priest Indabettu, Rev Fr Vijay Lobo, Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto, Rev. Fr WIlliam D’souza, Asst Parish Priest Madanthyar and Rev Fr Arthur Menezes, Resident Priest Gardady concelebrated the mass. Rishel convened entire program.
