‘Democracy of the people, by the people, for the people’
Holy Redeemer School observed International Democracy Day on September 15th in a meaningful way.
As this year’s International Day of Democracy is dedicated to “Empowering the Next Generation”, the students were made to understand their role as children and youngsters in ensuring democracy today and in the future. All students and Staff including the Headmaster Rev Fr Clifford Pinto took the pledge of the preamble of our constitution.
Students Reshal Bennis, Sonia Bennis and Riona Sequiera were involved in the narrating the significance of the day. Teacher Renita Lasrado guided and organised the event.
