Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady on 25th February celebrated ‘Thinking Day, the birthday of Lord Robert Baden Powell, founder of Scouts and Guides.
Scout Guides teachers and students held an interfaith prayers. Headmaster Rev Fr Clifford Pinto motivated the students to participate in more Scout Guides activities to develop good qualities and live as good citizens in the society.
Students presented the good values of social service, brotherhood, environmental protection, patriotism through dance and drama. Scout Master Mrs. Blendin Rodrigues spoke about the importance of the Thinking Day. Student Minal Joseph shared her experiences as a participant of International Scout and Guide Jamboree. Students Dion D’Souza welcomed, Vibhisha felicitated and Yashasvi compered the program. Co-Teachers Mrs. Blendin Rodriguez, Mrs. Anita, Mrs. Shanthi Pereira, Mrs. Akhida Banu and Mrs Elvita Pais guided and organised the program.
