Farewell to the out going YCS members, Welcome to the new YCS members and Election for the office bearers for 2025-26 was held in Holy Redeemer School Hall on June 15.
YCS Director Very Rev Fr Walter DMello, YCS Assistant Director Rev Fr Clifford Pinto, Animators Sr Jacintha Baretto, Sr Molly Dcunha, Mrs Preetha D’Souza and Mr James Barboza were present.
Program began with a prayer song. Student Supriya D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Secretary Stallen Rodrigues presented the report on the YCS activies of previous year.
Animator Sr Jacintha Baretto and the passed out students were bid farewell. YCS Director presented a certificate and a memento as a token of remembrance. In his address, Fr Walter DMello wished them well in their future endeavours.
Out going student Rishel Sequiera shared her experience as a member of YCS.
Student Vivan D’Souza who was the Deneary President was felicitated.
New Animator Sr Molly Dcunha and new members of YCS were whole heartedly welcomed by the Assistant Director by presenting a flower, hand made by the children of Daya special school, Belthangady. In his address, Fr Clifford Pinto motivated to students to actively take part in all the events of YCS.
Student Vinith Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks. Student Abhigail Martiz compered the program.
Farewell and Welcome program followed by the Election for the YCS office bearers for the year 2025-26 was conducted by the Animators.

Office bearers of the previous year handed over their responsibility to the newly elected office bearers.
The event concluded by singing the YCS anthem and YCS claps.
Refreshments were served to all.
