Holy Redeemer School celebrated the festival of light, Deepavali belatedly on November 5. Rev Fr Vinod Mascarenhas, Director of Dayal Bagh, Ujire was the Chief Guest. School Headmaster Rev Fr Clifford Pinto, Church 21 Commission Animator Mr Vincent D’Souza, Church Parish Council Secretary Mrs Pauline Rego, PTA Vice President Mr Bonventure Pinto and Secretary Mrs Wilma Fernandes were present. Students of Class 2, 6 and 8 performed many cultural programmes. Students Adhya and Anisha D’Sa welcomed the gathering, Fathimath Sana proposed the vote of thanks, Suzana and Fathimath Afrath compered the program. Teachers Mrs Mary Suja, Mrs Probha and Miss Divya organised the program.
